Byron Bay Attractions - Water

If the water department is more your style, then be prepared for the best Byron Bay water attractions. Visitors can whale watch, surf, kayak, fish and much more out on the waters of Byron Bay. At the Byron Bay Dive Centre visitors can dive and snorkel along Julian Rocks Marine Reserve under the supervision of certified specialists. For the novice surfer in training there are a number of places to be instructed, and many locations guarantee that you stand or you get your money back. Of course, all of these water activities have to take place on a beach, and Byron Bay’s beaches are one of its main attractions.

Byron Bay’s beaches are not crowded by any high-rises. In fact, there are no buildings at all on the beaches. Cape Byron is situated where the Coral Sea meets the Tasman Sea and extends out into the Pacific.
